Hallelujah Mountains

The floating mountains of Pandora.
I made this scene in Clarisse iFX, which is a great tool to create large, complex landscapes. Millions of hi-poly trees and plants were instanced all over the mountains and the underlying terrains, which brought the poly count up to 33.8 trillion.
I modeled the mountains and the terrains procedurally in Houdini. The waterfalls were also simulated in Houdini, but I only exported the whitewater component to Clarisse as VDBs. The vines were modeled in Blender.

Final post-processing: Photoshop.
